Stuff and things

A couple of things that I forgot to mention from my ill fated trip to Uncle Ed's;
First, I thought it would not look professional to take my floppy, straw hat to the interview so I didn't wear a hat of any kind.
I got burnt. It sucks.
Also Western Michigan University is know for it's bizarre parking situation. You are assigned a lot and that's where you park no matter what. I passed one that looked like something out of a post apocalyptic movie and there were two parking spots. That was it! Two of them! Crazy, huh?
So, today it is pretty hot, but Delia, Dandelion and I biked downtown to the bi annual book sale that is hosted by Kalamazoo Library. You fill a bag for two dollars. I situated myself by the Science Fiction table and waited for 9AM. I got a load of books! Pretty happy with all of my acquisitions. If you go to The Groovy Age of Horror I posted what I got. Yeah, no link, just look it up. Stop being lazy.
It seems that the three cats in the house can't seem to catch the mouse with the coaxial cable addiction in our bedroom so we put the wireless router downstairs for now. I may need to go on a mouse hunt.

So, yesterday I put in an application for an assistant bookstore manager. Seems it's the bookstore for Everest University. That's cool. Not the bookstore I envisioned, but they will pay me what I asked for for salary. My interview is Wednesday.
Pray for me.
So, I am surrounded by classic science fiction, the computer works again and I am off to watch El Superbeasto for the umpteeth time.
