Yesterday was my job interview with Ambassador Books. I would be the assistant manager of the Everest Institute bookstore. My interviewer was Paul. Great guy and we talked for about an hour and ran through my experience that would make me the perfect candidate for the job. It's a salaried position where I would work about 24 hours a week, be on call for Fridays and no weekends. The pay is exactly what I am looking for.
Paul was up front and honest. He said he would know what he was going to do by Friday. So, I wait for tomorrow and hope that he gives me that call.
I'm getting sick of looking for work.
I am also tired of seeing places re advertise for positions that I interviewed for. If they had hired me they wouldn't be having this problem.
Oh well.
The heat wave went away in the night and the air is cool, the coffee is brewing and I am waiting for this bookstore to call me either today or tomorrow.
