So, yeah, took a week off of the computer.
Did I miss it?
Not really.
Actually the only thing I missed was the immediate gratification of information. If I was watching a movie or something I could immediately look it up on the magical interweb and know everything I wanted.
I watched a lot of movies.
Worked on my Michael Legge book.
Became addicted to Dr. Horrible's Sing A Long Blog. Seriously, it has become an obsession at The Waltz Compound. It has played tens of times in the last seven days.
I was going to shoot an episode of Baron Morbid, but I like to cut those right away so, I opted out. We're going to do that today instead.
I didn't miss Facebook at all. There's this amazing thing called a telephone that you can call people and hear their voice. Better than that there is this invention called the automobile that will take you the houses of the people you know and you can see them in person.
It reminded me of a Bradbury story where everyone teleported from their front door to the front door of where ever they were going. Then this kid showed the main character what he and everyone else was missing by not going out doors.
Did a lot of yardwork and am digging up a spot to put in a garden.
No rototiller.
Just hand tools.
It's taking a little longer, but I think I will appreciate it more.
So, the Internet. Yeah, no big deal after all.
Well, except for this blogging addiction.
