In twenty minutes the door will swing wide and I will be able to file into the classroom and take my Business Law final. For preparation I read all the chapters that will be on the test and read the stuff at the end of the chapters twice. It will be 50 questions all multiple choice. Those are my favorite because the answer has been provided. You have a twenty-five percent chance of getting it right.
Final preparation involved two shots of brown liquor and three Old Styles in a can like God intended.
And I have no worries.
In addition to the test I have a fail safe program in effect.
See, the teacher giving the final is not the teacher I signed up for with the class. My foul mouthed, one legged teacher fell ill and we missed huge chunks of class time. I figure just putting up with this BS entitles me to a B at the worst. Anything less and I protest. I will demand the grade be expunged and that all involved either get a full refund or another shot at the class gratis.
In the meantime, the liquor and beer combo has centered me and made me ready for this test. Since I read a thousand words a minute with about a 90 percent retention rate I see me leaving the class first. Out of academia and back on the bike trail to home to celebrate the last test of the semester.
It will be glorious.
Because of that fail safe I mentioned earlier.
Fifteen minutes until the test and the teacher hasn't arrived. Doesn't matter since he can't get into the classroom without one of the guards that roam the halls here downtown. See, he's the replacement teacher and the guards could care less about him.
I can see people congregating around the door of the classroom as if that will make the teacher get their faster to let us in to wait until 6 o'clock so he can start the test.
People will still be late getting there. People are always late for class.
I could count down the last thirteen minutes until the class starts, but I won't.
I could go congregate in the hallway with the others and make small talk until the class doors swing open, but I'm not going to. I'll finish this post. Send a link off to Facebook and by then it should be time.
Time to get my B.
Or and A. I'd really like an A.
Seeya!
